Categories
Prize Categories will be for top 3 Open (Male), Female, Mixed. Additionally for Veteran Teams (each team member 45+) we will have Open (Male), Female and Mixed
Only people who are female sex at birth are eligible to compete in the female category. All individuals including transgender people are eligible to compete in the open category. This is a requirement of our licensing by the national governing body
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Team members must be 15 years old by the 31st December, so they can be 14 years old providing their next birthday is before the end of the year. Ideally children under 16’s should attend event with their Parent/Guardian. Please provide signed permission if their Parent/Guardian cannot be present at the event by using the attached form

We will ask you to reserve a number of team spaces
We will contact you approximately 8 weeks before the event to confirm the number of teams you will be entering, email you a team entry sheet to collect details of each of your team members and arrange for payment.
Any race licence fees will be collected at Registration on Race weekend. Please have the correct money, cash only

What to wear
Bike helmets are mandatory in compliance with BTF race rules. If you don’t have a wetsuit then why not rent one from Zone3.com

The Swim course
The swim is straight to the top of the lake between the jumps and back down the lake between the jumps and the island – the course is pictured here. There will be an individual swim start with a spaced out line up along the lake side in order of anticipated swim times so no crowding and a comfortable start to the swim.
The Bike course
A 23Km single lap route with an internal loop. You can watch a video of the bike route here, the film slows down at the critical safety points.

The run course uses the Box End pre-marked 5K route albeit in the opposite direction! The course is pictured here

First Aid
A mobile medical crew will be on standby throughout the event.
Toilets
There are toilet facilities in the club house, plus additional portable facilities close to transition.
Drinks & Refreshments
There are no aid stations on the route. We have a tea tent and homemade cakes at a reasonable price! Please contact the venue for the availability of food and beverage outlets.
Don’t forget
Wetsuit, Bike, bike helmet, bike shoes, and running shoes and it is your responsibility to ensure that your bike is mechanically sound and race ready.
